Yes, as seen on Kyrie Irving’s feet, the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Kyrache’ or ‘Ky-rache’ appears to be releasing. According to these Nike official pictures of course. It isn’t hard or doesn’t take rocket science to guess what inspired this new colorway hitting the Kyrie 2. Having an official colorway description of White/White-Black-Bold Berry, if you didn’t know the Nike Air Flight Huarache is the culprit that inspired the look. Bringing such a classic colorway to a new age silhouette was a great idea and even on the tongue with the K I logo, the Huarache logo is tied in, cementing the inspiration perfectly if you ask me.
Looking to retail for $120, I don’t expect for these to sit on shelves long or at least I would assume so. Check out the official pictures and when an official release date is made known we will update you guys accordingly so you can prepare yourselves to purchase a pair. In the meantime let us know down in the comments your thoughts, will the be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
UPDATE: There is now a release date for the upcoming Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Kyrache’ and it is confirmed for June 7, 2016.
The Kyrie 2 Kyrache features colors and details nodding to the iconic Nike Air Flight Huarache that debuted in 1992, the year Irving was born. The original shoe features bold purple and blue color-blocking with an exoskeleton design mimicking the intuitive fit of ancient Mayan sandals.
The remixed KYRIE 2 Kyrache is available June 7.
