Prior to the start of the NBA Playoffs the folks at the Swoosh unveiled this new colorway for Kyrie Irving and his signature shoe. Dubbed the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Crossover’, these are to be worn by Irving throughout the playoffs but being the good folks Nike is we as fans and “sneaker heads” can look forward to a limited release.
Here’s what the folks at Nike had to say about the new colorway for their star athlete;
The KYRIE 2 Crossover celebrates Irving’s signature move, which leaves defenders hypnotized. The shoe features distorted copy on the heels, varying from left to right, a metaphor for Irving’s deceptive crossover.
Irving will wear the shoe in the playoffs, and limited pairs will be available for sale beginning May 14.
