Today is Kobe Bryant Day since the unveiling of his tenth signature shoe is official now. We have been treated with the press release for it from Nike along with a release day for the first color, ‘5 AM Flight’.
Prior to the unveiling we were getting pictures left and right of the ‘All Star‘ colorway, ‘5 AM Flight’ and we even had the pleasure of getting a leaked image of upcoming colorways and their inspiration. ‘5 AM Flight’, ‘Green Vino‘ and ‘Silk Road’ were a couple of the inspirations we learned about.
Well today we have a first look at one of those inspirations, introducing the Nike Kobe X ‘Silk Road’. The official colorway is Merlot/Villain Red-Total Orange-Metallic Gold and the retail price is $180. Nike’s inspiration behind the ‘Silk Road’ KB10 is their dedication to the west (China) and connecting it with the east.
Are these Kobe’s “China” release for the KB10, possibly.
