It is national Mamba Day across the world, literally. Today is the last day we will see Kobe Bryant lace them up as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. While we won’t see Kobe Bean Bryant on the hardwood anymore, his sneaker line will and shall remain a staple to the game of Basketball and sneaker heads alike. Whether young or old, Kobe Bryant has someway impacted you as a fan of basketball; good or bad. To keep his story alive and continue the legacy he built with Nike, the Swoosh has announced, by way of Heidi Burgett via: twitter, that Kobe’s signature shoe line shall continue on geting the treatment our beloved Air Jordan’s get. As you see in the tweet we can expect some new, some retro and some classic remastered moving forward with KB’s shoes.
For all of us who are fans of sneakers this is great news. Now the waiting game begins but in the meantime the Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack is up for auction on eBay and all the shoes are signed by Kobe. Proceeds will go to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, good luck.
Kobe’s shoes will continue to grace basketball courts worldwide – some new, some retro & some classics remastered w/ the latest innovations.
