This weekend the saga continues in the ‘What The’ franchise so to speak. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘What The’ starts the last few colorways which is looking to put an end to the incredible run the KB9 has had (BHM is preparing to release soon as well).

When the Kobe 9 made its debut almost one year ago, it took the sneaker scene by storm with its provocative design and game-changing technology – the first time we ever saw Flyknit on a basketball shoe. Now, the culmination of one of the most polarizing basketball shoes ever comes to completion with the release of the heralded ‘What The’ colorway this weekend. The Kobe 9 Elite ‘What The’ features a mashup of color and graphic elements from a variety of past Kobe 9 Elites showcasing a multicolor Flyknit upper with reflective tonal graphics, a neon, speckled midsole, and a print mélange in the inner collar. In partnership with mall management, SELECT Foot Locker and House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘What The’ (on sale 1/10 for $275). The sweepstakes tickets will be given out on Monday, January 5th and Tuesday, January 6th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Wednesday, January 7th or Thursday, January 8th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only.
