Footlocker took to their official blog site to provide release details for the upcoming new color way for Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Perspective”. The official color way is Neon Turquoise/Volt. Us over at Defpen Radio decided to relay the message to you guys and find out if these will be a DEF cop or DEF not.
The Kobe 9 Elite has certainly made a splash since it’s debut last month, with the release of the “Masterpiece” and “Inspiration” colorways. Next up, dropping this weekend, is the Neon Turquoise/Volt colorway dubbed “Perspective.” The Kobe 9 Elite “Perspective” is inspired by the blue period, a three year-stretch (1901-1904) of artistic brilliance by the Spanish cubist painter, whose artwork during this time featured shades of blue and blue-green. Just like the Spanish master, Bryant brings a similar beauty to his game. This Spaniard showed versatility beyond painting with his sculpting, ceramics and printmaking and he serves as the guiding inspiration to this Kobe 9 Elite ‘Perspective’ colorway. Turquoise upper is infused with Volt pops and a graphic on the side of the shoe, accentuating the Flyknit and Carbon Fiber.
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Perspective” will be available at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EST) on Saturday, March 8th for $225. Grade school kids sizes will also be available. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
