Footlocker took to their official blog site to provide release details for the upcoming new color way for Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Inspiration”. The official color way is Black/Metallic Silver-Anthracite. The Kobe 9 Elite is the first ever basketball shoe to feature three key technologies: Flyknit, Flywire and Lunarlon. Designer Eric Avar’s goal was to enhance the foot’s natural movements while providing strength, durability and speed to create superior lightweight performance. Since first arriving to Los Angeles for his 1996 rookie season, Kobe has bled purple and gold. Five championships during his illustrious career in Los Angeles reflect his commitment. Whenever the Black Mamba makes his return to the court it will be in the Kobe 9 Elite Inspiration.
