Really diggin’ this colorway, the Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘Brave Blue’ is amongst the few I actually could see myself rockin’ in the high silhouette. The Elite Low though, now I love that sneaker. Sporting an array of blue hues your time is almost here if you want to get a pair for yourself. Now that said time is approaching, retailers will be dishing out information on how to score on release day so we will be helping to get the message out.

The first Nike Kobe 9 of the fall season drops this week in a new ‘Brave Blue’ colorway that will surely turn some heads. An ode to Dr. Jerry Buss, the late Lakers owner, the colorway gets its hue from Dr. Buss’ poker jacket. An accomplished poker player, Buss was the Lakers owner for 10 of their championships and was a 2010 inductee to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. The ‘Brave Blue’ Kobe 9 incorporates a full flyknit upper into the high top silhouette, as well as a metallic silver Swoosh design gives the shoe the premium feel of an Elite release. Finally, red accents round out the shoe on the heel pattern while teal takes care of the lace loops.
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘Brave Blue’ drops at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and Footlocker.com (starting at 8am EDT) on Saturday, October 18 for $225. Check the Launch Locator to see if a store near you will be carrying this release.
