This is the most interesting colorway for a Kobe signature shoe I have ever seen. As we know KB’s signature shoes and colorways tell a story closely associated with Kobe and his life journey. While we are counting down to Kobe’s last game as a L.A. Laker, the ‘Fade To Black’, Black Mamba Pack is doing so as well. With all the focus on that pack we forgot all about the Nike Kobe 11 itself. Here we have is a first look at the Nike Kobe 11 ‘TV’ which is said to be inspired by television of course. While the nickname is surely to change per usual the correlation to the TV moniker isn’t hard to pinpoint. When television goes off-air the screen goes black white and grey or what many will call “snow” which is pretty much static. On the back of the Nike Kobe 11 ‘TV’ is a graphic which usually gives us an indication of what the colorway is. If you are familiar with the off-air multi-color graphic that indicates a television program is off-air then that explains the shoes new colorway.
As for a release date, there isn’t one yet but there will be eventually and when that does come around we will keep you guys updated accordingly. Let us know down in the comments your thoughts, will they be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
UPDATE: Official pictures from Nike have been provided for the upcoming Nike Kobe 11 ‘TV’ which is apparently a grade school exclusive as of right now and there looks to be a release of May 27, 2016 for the retail price of $135.
