Here’s where the confusion comes in… We previously looked at a sneaker from Kobe Bryant’s current signature line dubbed the Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low 4KB which was decked out in all white with multi-color. Now going along with the theme for Easter, those would essentially be suitable candidates to release apart of the Nike Basketball Easter Collection but the colorway description just doesn’t line up. Prior to the releasing of the Kobe 11 a stream of colorways and release dates leaked with the Easter being described as Dark Grey/Volt-Bright Mango-Court Purple-Black.
Now when you look at the pictures provided for this new colorway, you see the dark grey and bright mango. This is what happens with leaked pictures and early info, a lot of confusion and premature nickname assumption. So for now until Nike officially unveils the Easter Collection we will just assume this new colorway can be the Easter KB11 going based off the description and also the logo on the back. Now for me I was ready to believe that these would be a perfect suitor for Halloween due to the skull.
Knowing that Kobe and Nike like to think outside the box, the skull could be thinking it’s inspiration from the Donnie Darko movie in reference to the evil bunny. That’s just a wild guess but it could possibly work. Also a simple search of a rabbit skull logo helps identify with the logo on the back as well. We will continue to monitor any information regarding these and the Nike Basketball Easter collection so sit tight, we have you guys covered.
