At first I was a bit thrown off by the Nike Kobe 11 and that was simply because I didn’t see the vision until the official unveiling by Nike yesterday. The design is a bit similar to a model of Kobe’s in the past but the technology and construction is way more advanced. If you happened to miss the unveiling we have you covered check it out here.
The Kobe 11 is being said to not feature an Elite version this time around as well as a High version. This is sort of discouraging because I was looking forward to seeing what they would look like. While the first colorway is dubbed ‘Achilles Heel’ and is backed with a story line that was made known through the unveiling, there is another one that is dropping January 27, 2016 , the Nike Kobe 11 ‘Black/White’. I am pretty sure there will be a nick name and story line will be made known and if the ‘Achilles Heel‘ is any indication on how we will identify specific colorways expect for there to be a logo on the back heel.
