Well when we first set eyes on this colorway it was noted correctly that the official colorway was Dark Atomic Teal/Mineral Teal-Black-Total Orange but as for the nickname, ‘Overcome‘ was apparently wrong. Today we have official pictures as well as the confirmed nickname which is, Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low ‘Drill Sergeant’ and the storyline is an interesting one.
In Kobe Bryant’s younger years it was noted that along with his brass playing style he would often lead by example with yelling at teammates and grilling them instead of just letting his playing do the talking and this is what led to him coming off as being a drill sergeant. It took a couple of veterans on the team to pull KB to the side to let Bryant know about himself.
