I am all for those second signature lines that mostly see releases across seas make their way to the states. With that being said, we have the release of the Nike KD Trey 5 II ‘China’ and you can expect for those who are KD Signature shoe enthusiast to probably pick up a pair of these especially since KD is back for good with Nike.
Take a look at the detailed pictures Foot Locker has provided along with their release details and let us know if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
The Nike KD Trey 5 II is the second edition of Kevin Durant’s parallel signature line and perhaps the first shoe named after a twitter handle (Durant’s twitter handle is @KDTrey5). The shoe is also the first KD model to be released since the renewal of his endorsement contract with Nike and it’s certainly a bold release. The “China” release is officially a Cool Grey/Metallic Gold-Diffused Jade colorway but that hardly does justice to the scheme. Cloaked in an engineered mesh blue camo-ish upper, this KD Trey 5 II is set off by a unmissable gold Nike Swoosh design. The shoe’s most definable feature is the blue translucent heel piece that extends up from the outsole. The KD Trey 5 II includes both Nike Flywire and Nike Hyperfuse technologies, as well as the same Zoom midsole/outsole design as the KD VII.
The Nike KD Trey 5 II “China” releases at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) on Thursday, September 18th for $110. Check the Launch Locator to see what stores will have this release.
