I knew there had to be a reason why I was such a big Nike KD 8 fan, aside from the price of course the silhouette’s design and colorways thus far have been a hit. In my opinion of course. This upcoming colorway is the Nike KD 8 ‘Vinary’ and the inspiration is a dope one. As a kid we all have heroes or in terms speaking for KD, players who have paved the way for us in the profession we are in. For the ‘Vinary’ 8’s Nike and Kevin came together and took hits from not just Larry Bird but Vince Carter as well. So we look at the playing style for KD now it all makes sense, lethal shooter like Bird (VC is no slouch) and of course the slashing and dunk ability of Vince Carter.
Having an official colorway of Black/White-Green Shock-Hyper Orange we get the idea each players respective team colors are on the sneaker. Black and Green for the Celtics (Bird) and the purple and hyper orange which really looks red is for the Raptors. Now that isn’t made known but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
