Being connected to Nike has to be a great thing. It looks like Kevin Durant’s Alma Mater, University of Texas has received their Nike KD 8 ‘Texas Longhorn’ PE’s. Each year we receive Texas Longhorn inspired colorways for KD’s signature shoe and while these may just be a PE for the Longhorns, there is a possibility that this is the route Nike goes in for the silhouette. There is also a possibility that the silhouette will revisit the all-burnt orange colorway on the upper. For this colorway we get the all base for the upper and the burnt orange finds its way onto the swoosh, flywire, KD logo and midsole.
As of right now this looks to be an exclusive to the University of Texas so no word on a possible release but do expect for an actual Texas KD 8 to eventually release and we will keep you guys updated. Let us know down in the comments your thoughts on these.
