Last and certainly not least for this upcoming Nike Basketball ‘Toy’ Collection which is inspired by Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant’s childhood is the Nike KD 8 GS ‘Money Ball’. For this new colorway made exclusively for kids, the young athletes, the official colorway description is Black/University Red-Travel Yellow-Metallic Brown.
The inspiration apparently to be behind this new KD 8 is toy race cars and the fact he would turn playing with such toys into basketball as it is said he would shoot pennies into the cars, hence the ‘Money Ball’ moniker. Also as you can see the black upper looks like car tires too so that is a nice touch on adding this to the sneaker to further play on the nickname.
Expected to release this November 10, 2015 in the Greater China it is also reports the release date is also November 11, 2015 which could be stateside.
