One of my favorite colorways from the Nike KD 7 is apparently making its way back this year on Kevin Durant’s current signature shoe. Here we have what is believed to be a first look at the Nike KD 8 ‘Easy Money’. If you guys need a refresher on where the nickname and color palettes for this sneaker resonated from here’s what Nike had to say about it for the KD 7;
EASY MONEY
Inventor and statesman Ben Franklin used a metal key and a kite to prove that lightning was really a stream of electrified air. Franklin’s famous stormy kite experiment in June 1752 revolutionized what we now know about the power of lightning and electricity. As an ode to Franklin’s fascination with weather and his prominence on the US$100 bill, the ‘Easy Money’ colorway features green hues and graphics from the ‘Benjamin’ bill – a tribute to KD’s nickname, Easy Money.
Now assuming the colorway on the Easy Money 8’s is the same then the description would be Mystic Green/Light Brown. As of right now the only picture available is the seen here but from the looks of things I am sure you guys get a general idea of what to expect once more pictures present themselves. Also a release date is not yet known for these but keep it locked here as we will keep you guys updated accordingly. I can already see I will be a fan of this colorway and considering I have the Easy Money 7’s, the 8’s are a win in my book.
With the first wave of KD 8 colorways in the books, it comes as no surprise we saw a bible inspired colorway as well as a Washington Redskins colorway from KD via his instagram and now these pop up courtesy of @SneakersSpy. Expect more colorways to eventually get revealed as days go by.
