As usual, the revealing of the next installment to Kevin Durant’s signature shoe has been filled with mixed reviews and many being negative as opposed to being positive. Here’s my thing, this happens every year, people get all up in arms about the KD shoe and then when those first wave of colorways hit then there’s a change of opinion.
The Nike KD 8 ‘Bright Crimson’ has that Global Games look and while the apparent material on the upper is being said to be ‘Flyweave’, engineered mesh and a TPU heel counter, the Nike KD 8 is packed with technology. One initial thing many complained the sneaker lacked and looked like a cheap shoe with prior models.
Well things appear to be changing. Also to be added, apparently there will be a Flyknit sock joining in to the equation.
I am really excited to see what colorways this sneaker gets presented with, how the Nike ID aspect will look and just the overall feel they will possess. They look great on foot, as you can see we have just two shots to share for right now but these were a deal breaker for me and have sold me on the shoe.
