As expected, another leaked picture has hit the internet for the 2016 Nike Basketball All-Star Collection. So far we have seen the Nike LeBron 13, Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low and now we are here with the Nike KD 8 ‘All-Star’. All that is left is the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘All-Star’ which if the pattern continues we will see tomorrow (Thursday). As for the Nike KD 8 ‘All-Star’ the theme isn’t quite apparent just yet considering it’s been said the theme would be focused on ‘Northern Lights’ like the Nike Air Foamposite One. As you can see though the official colorway is White/Metallic Silver-Black-Multi-Color. The Multi-Color takes up the majority of the upper on the sneaker which makes it look exactly like the packaging of the shoe.
The release date is the same as the others we took a look at so far and that is February 11, 2016 with a retail price of $200. The picture shoes the KD 8 next to the LeBron 13 AS and with my expectations being high for the KD 8 AS, as of right now I feel this is the best shoe out of the pack so far but I could be wrong once official pictures are released or when the AS collection is officially unveiled which should be any day now.
Let us know down in the comments your thoughts, will these be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
UPDATE: The Nike KD 8 ‘All-Star’ has been officially unveiled.
KD8
Modern blocking, inspired by the classic look of flags spotted throughout Toronto that represent the city’s internationalism, brings a fresh graphic twist to the KD8’s Flyweave upper. Removable patches adorn the heel and tongue, and a white and light blue marble graphic, which references Toronto’s icy winter weather, decorates the outsole.
