Tomorrow is the day the Nike KD 7 ‘Easy Money’ hits retailers shelves. Possibly the best colorway thus far to me I know for many these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not. One retailer in particular is Footaction and below is some release details as well as detailed pictures which should help you guys decide on whether you will pick up a pair.
The Nike KD VII ‘Easy Money’ is inspired by inventor and statesman Ben Franklin’s key and kite experiment, proving that lightning that was a stream of electrified air. Nike designer Leo Chang created an innovative shoe for Durant that helps and honors the reigning MVP’s quickness, power and shiftiness.
The overall theme for the KD VII is weather, and the sneaker fuses performance innovation with a creative narrative. As a child, Durant’s fascination with meteorology led to aspirations of becoming a weatherman. “With the KD7 we wanted to build strong storytelling,” said Durant. “Leo and the team are always technically focused, but we also wanted to have some fun with hidden stories that make me who I am.”
“Easy Money” is one of many nicknames for Kevin Durant because he makes it look effortless on the court — but make no mistake, his hard work and preparation only makes it look that way.
