Yes, the Nike KD 7 ‘Easy Money’ is easily my favorite color way for this silhouette right now, so you know what that means, DEF Cop. There was a brief moment when I thought this color way would be the last of its kind but Nike came through and decided to keep Kevin Durant a part of the family. The whole nickname for these is rather ironic considering KD just cashed out with Nike but I won’t speak on that any further.
Anyways with their release slated for THIS wednesday you better get yourself prepared especially if you want a pair. To help, below is some detailed pictures as well as release details from Foot Locker.
Will these be a DEF Cop or DEF Not?
Kevin Durant announced recently he is returning to the Swoosh, and that means Nike and KD fans can expect more signature kicks and colorways coming in the future but today we’ll focus on the present and the newest colorway hitting stores this weekend of the Nike KD7. Paying tribute to KD’s nickname ‘Easy Money’, Nike’s latest KD7 release gets its inspiration from inventor and statesman Ben Franklin. Franklin used a metal key and a kite to prove that lightning was really a stream of electrified air, and his famous stormy kite experiment in June 1752 revolutionized what we now know about the power of lightning and electricity. As an ode to Franklin’s fascination with weather and his prominence on the US$100 bill, the ‘Easy Money’ colorway features green hues and graphics from the ‘Benjamin’ bill.
The Nike KD7 ‘Easy Money’ drops this Wednesday. September 10th at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) in men’s for $150 and kids grade school for $115. Complement your kicks with a fresh pair of Nike KD Digital Ink Crew Socks, available in stores for $30.
