Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro – Release Date

The wait is over and the retro many of us have been waiting years for is officially on the way back. Congratulations to LeBron James as his ‘baby’, ‘grails’, the Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro is happening!

First news slowly started making its way throughout social with a first look being provided by @LickMySoles. Shortly after an official announcement was made by King James for the AZG by way of Uninterrupted. Sneaker twitter, instagram, Facebook, you name it rejoiced over this news.


When Bron said they will be releasing soon this year, he wasn’t lying. The Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro drops this January 25th. Here is the catch though, they will retail for $175 as opposed to their $110 when they first dropped.

Also, James took to Instagram to further announce the highly anticipated return and reflecting on how much the shoes mean to him.

When I held these shoes for the first time I couldn’t believe I was holding a Nike sneaker with my name on it AND that they’d forever be known as the “LeBron’s.” Bronny was a baby.
