The last we spoke on the upcoming Nike Air Raid by Pigalle was back a couple weeks ago and just recently via their IG, Nike Lab has provided detailed pictures as well as some release details for this upcoming release. Take a look below and they pretty much have given us everything we need to know.
Introducing the Air Raid by Pigalle. In 1992, Nike’s first-ever outdoor basketball shoe, the Air Raid, brought innovation to the playground. Featuring a rugged upper, durable outsole, and distinct strap-lacing system, the design continues to crash the asphalt to this day. Once more, the Pain O Chokolat crew’s passion for hoops is on display. They’ve refined the game-changing design to reflect Parisian sensibilities with two sophisticated, tonal executions.
From Paris. For outdoor use only. Founded by Stephane Ashpool in 2008, Pigalle blends a modern, street aesthetic with a touch of Parisian opulence. Now, they’ve made their mark on an outdoor icon, celebrating their passion for roundball in any setting – including the streets.
Paris’ creative class raids the court with the Air Raid by Pigalle. Available exclusively in New York City at 21 Mercer and Dover Street Market via raffle. To enter, present a valid ID at either destination before 7 PM EST on September 10. Winners will be notified with details on how to purchase their pair. Name on ID must match name on the ticket. Limit one ticket per location. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
