Nothing like reworking classic detailing onto a classic silhouette, in most cases it works out and in others it can fail miserably. As for the Nike Air Presto ‘Safari’ I feel as if Nike passed on this attempt of bringing to life the classic ‘Safari’ print onto the Presto. The Presto received a resurgance as new and old colorways have been releasing and with the Nike Air Presto ‘Safari’ you can just add these to the list of many that have come and plan to come in the near future.

Safari print has been a staple since the mid-1980s. Born on the Air Safari and deriving from the mind of Tinker Hatfield, the timeless print now makes its way to the legendary Air Presto. The new design takes inspiration from the ‘Safari’ Air Max 1 B, with a printed upper, dual color eyestay and gum rubber outsole.
