It looks like the folks at Nike are FINALLY bringing back a long time classic for the first time ever, the Nike Air Pressure. Releasing originally back in 1989 when a guy like myself was just a little man who honestly wouldn’t have remembered the first release but when knowing the history of sneakers like this one you can’t never forget it. Serving as Nike’s answer to the Reebok Pump, the Air Pressure is one of its kind. Thanks to Nike’s SNKRS app we get the news that the coveted sneaker will be retroing along with some brief information regarding the silhouette.
Air was everywhere in 1989. From running to hoops, it helped cushion athletes all over the globe. The Air Pressure was one of the most unique iterations of Air at the time, featuring a special collar pump that allowed the sneaker to mold to the wearer’s ankle.
The Air Pressure now returns for the first time ever. Just like the initial iteration, the out-of-this-world sneaker arrives complete with all of the original parts, from the air pump to the unforgettable “Jug of Shoes” packaging.
The release date is set for January 14th and the release date is set for $300. Check out the pictures below and let us know if they’ll be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
