Funny story about the Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Olympic’, I initially did not want these when Nike released all those Olympic driven sneakers highlighted by the Olympic 6’s. Of course I wanted the Air Jordan 6 ‘Olympic’ but they were sold out, so I settled for these. I was actually satisfied that I decided to get the Air More Uptempo at the end of the day. But now it looks like I have the opportunity to get another pair or for those who missed the first go around in 2012 have a chance to finally get their hands on a pair. The Nike Air More Uptempo is dressed in a colorway description of White/Navy-Metallic Gold with the highlight being Scottie Pippen’s Olympic number “8” on the heel. Looking to return in association with the Rio Olympics this year, we can actually expect for them to return this July 4th for the retail price of $180.
The Nike Air More Uptempo is enjoying a nice run for its 20th anniversary this year with colorways like the OG ‘Black/White’, ‘White/University Red’ and the new comer the ‘White/Gum’. Out of these, which is your favorite thus far? Also lets not forget the ‘Heat Pack’ colorway which was a Kid’s exclusive.
