Meet Alejandro Munoz, Designer Of The Nike Air Max Penny LE DB
It’s not everyday when as a kid you get to design your own sneaker and watch the world react to your work. Not only that but get to have people buy what you created. As we introduce to you guys the third designer for this years 2014 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, we were formally introduced to all the kids last week if you happened to miss that.
Yesterday we gave you guys a short but more in-depth look into the design created by Addie Peterson and prior to that the designer to the most talked about sneaker the Air Jordan 8 Retro DB, Caden Lampert.
Similar to those two, it is only fair Alejandro gets his platform to shine as well. Check out the information below and let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
Alejandro’s canvas is the Nike Air Max Penny, inspired by his love of football. Alejandro loves nothing more than hanging out in shorts and tees – and now he has designed one of each. Personal drawings and designs are imprinted all over the reflective base of the Air Max Penny, and his own logo is inspired by his favorite football team: the 49ers. Look closely and you’ll see a self-portrait of Alejandro playing football on the tongue.
