For those that have been following Anthony Davis as far as on the court should know that he has been wearing this silhouette throughout the year, the Nike Air Max Audacity. Last year he was a very big advocate for the Hyperposite 2 but Nike looks to have other plans for the Pelicans star player.
If you haven’t noticed, Nike tends to test the waters with their athletes prior to going into the stages of issuing a signature sneaker. For example Kyrie Irving as we know is onto his second signature shoe but prior to that they released a couple of Nike Hyperdunks and the response was great so when the Nike Kyrie 1 came around as you can see sales have been stellar for the most part.
Paul George, James Harden and Anthony Davis were all in line to be that next wave of Signature shoes but unfortunately PG had a set back with his injury, Harden left for adidas and now it looks like Ant Davis could be the focus. PG13 is still in the works it seems as he continues to work the court in the Nike Hyperdunk 2015 Low
Releasing unexpected is the Nike Air Max Audacity ‘Anthony Davis’ seen here. Available at retailers like Foot Locker, this shoe sports Davis jersey number on the tongue and more noticeably on the heels. The stand out for me though happens to be the ‘Brow’ logo that;s on the tongue, Nike you guys are funny for that, it’s dope though. Inside on the insole is his nickname ‘Phatman’ and for the colorway is University Red/Metallic Gold-Obsidian-White. For $110 these can be your so head on over to FTL and pick up a pair.
