Introducing The Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Nai Ke’
Forever a staple in the sneaker culture world wide as well as transcending into an iconic symbol in Hip Hop culture, the Nike Air Force 1 High is undoubtedly one of, if not, the most important silhouettes, period.
The 1982 classic is being “remastered” in 2015 which means, on the same grounds as the Air Jordan’s we will see the sneaker receive the high quality premium white leather. Now this specific colorway is being constructed exclusively for Nikes’ Chinese sneaker market.
So if you aren’t well connected or have a “plug” across seas you can almost think of these as a figment of your imagination. Or perhaps you can try your luck on Nike.com as it is being said they’ll be available there as well but I am pretty sure without a bot the results will be the same.
Along with the all white leather upper we see red work itself throughout the rest of the detailing of the sneaker. From the classic strap, the swoosh and the NIKE AIR branding on the tongue as well as the red outsole. On the heel of the sneaker we see in red an embroidery which says NIKE in Chinese which I might also add that is what “Nai Ke” stands for.
it is being said that the reconstruction of the shoe with the high quality materials has provided much more of a snug fit and if I am not mistaken should cause for less creases.
Nike is aiming to release this sneaker January 16th but accompanying them will be apparel, “Nai Ke” tanktops, crewnecks and caps.
The folks at HB have also provided a video for the occasion which show 25 sneakerheads from 4 cities taking a look at a preview…
