Considering the Olympics are this Summer and Nike along with other respective brands are going to be looking to lace up some of their marquee silhouettes in colorways to commemorate the event, this news doesn’t quite come as no surprise. Shocking that it’s actually going to happen but when it comes to the Swoosh you have to expect things like this. Last year in December @Baltsneakershow, the man responsible for providing some of the most reliable sneaker information tweeted, ‘Red.White.Blue. Foamposites’. Well now it is being said that the sneaker is going to be the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘USA’.
Not only is it going to sport USA inspired colors, the three colors which are Obsidian/University Red-Metallic Gold-White are being said to be on the actual foam part. Well the Blue, Red and White of course.
Yes you read that correctly, in the actual foam part. As I look at my Foams and picture this, I am really not sure how I feel about this but I have to wait and see what Nike cooks up because it could be a hit or miss. With the Olympics to be held in Rio and isn’t until August a Summer 2016 release is likely but as of right now there is no confirmed date.
There is no pictures yet of what to expect but if you use your imagination you can bet they will be crazy. Let us know down in the comments your thoughts on this information and when more information is provided we let you guys know first hand.
UPDATE: Here are several new pictures of the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One ‘USA’/’Olympic’
