Years ago when the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Copper’ colorway had first dropped and was followed up with the ‘Pewter’ colorway, an Olympic Medal themed picture featuring the two along with a third hit the internet.
We saw (picture below) the Coppers paired up with a Bronze medal, Pewters paired up with the silver medal and then Metallic Gold paired up with a gold medal.
Here’s the thing we received two out of the three, one in 2010 and then followed by another in 2011 but no third, being the metallic gold.
Fast forward to today, we have what seems to be a first look at the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Metallic Gold’ which is being slated for a 2015 release.
What also makes things even more interesting is word is that the ‘Copper’ colorway is coming back in 2015 too. If I was a betting man I would bank on seeing the Pewters again too or some variation to them.
