And They Say New York City, Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Knicks’
In typical Nike Store fashion, we get an interesting twist on the proposed theme and nickname for another sneaker. This time around, the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Knicks’ is officially releasing but the story, or inspiration for its colorway is something totally unexpected.
Five Boroughs inspired? I wasn’t expecting this twist. Regardless of the fact it is good to FINALLY see this Total Crimson/Game Royal/Black/Total Crimson colorway to finally be releasing after seeing them on Spike Lee’s feet some years back.
Check out Nike Stores release details and detailed pictures then let us know down in the comments will they be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE: FROM THE FIVE BOROUGHS
For years, New York City residents have navigated the streets of the concrete jungle in the Air Foamposite One. The same can be said for much of the Eastern coast. From Boston to Baltimore, Foams became a street staple, evolving from an experiment into an icon. Today, its legacy spans countries and continents. But there’s still no masking where its legend grew.
The latest edition employs tones inspired by a global hub for fashion, art, and commerce—New York City. The rugged Foamposite shell sports an Orange Blaze finish with Royal Blue detailing on the tongue, eyestays, and laces. True to form, 1Cent insignia appears on the tongue, heel, and outsole.
From the five boroughs. For the world. The latest Air Foamposite One arrives November 26 at nike.com/sportswear and select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide.
