The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘All Star’ aka ‘Mirror’ is a very unique but simple colorway to say the least compared to recent colorways we have seen. With the ‘Dark Obsidian’ set to bring back the typical but warranted color blocking, Nike has opted for an almost familiar face for the upcoming All-Star Foamposite.
When we first got a look at these they were being dubbed ‘Mirror’, for obvious reasons of course. After time, word has hit the internet that these are in fact for NYC’s All Star weekend. My theory still stands after seeing the Nike Basketball Zoom City Collection that the ‘Mirror’ effect is to replicate a NYC sky scrapper.
Just think about it, when you look around Manhattan and see all the buildings, the reflective look seen on this Foam is reminiscent.
I could be wrong but I do know the release date is set for February 15, 2015 and with a retail price of $275, every single penny may just be worth it. Lastly, while you guys enjoy the detailed pictures provided notice on the back of the sneaker it reads NYC inside of the NIKE branding. WOW
