The classic silhouette Nike Air Flightposite is back but not exactly how you would want or envision them to be. Nike is transforming the Flightposite, “exposing” the shoe by stripping the classic zip. Alot of people are up in arms with claiming these are just the Soloflights all over again but i beg to differ I think the colorway plays a big role in the negative feedback this sneaker is getting. Nike has officially announced this “Exposed” Nike Air Flightposite and below you can read more about it.
First introduced in 1999, the Air Flightposite drew upon inspiration from futuristic concept cars to create the sleekest and most responsive basketball model of its time. The shoe became instantly recognizable, on the court as well as off of it, for its molded Posite upper and lace-cover shroud.
Basketball players and sneakerheads around the world embraced the Flightposite. And now it’s back and exposed like never before. The Flightposite for 2013 sheds the shroud and features the design’s signature molded upper in an all-over zebra print. Accompanying a red outsole, translucent red overlays line the side of the shoe for extra pops of color. An Air Force 1 also adopts this all-over zebra & red colorway highlighted by a reflective zebra print.
The Flightposite has been udpated, exposed for all to see, available October 26th on Nike.com.
