Look at God. Such a sight these are, the Nike Air Flight Huarache OG ‘Bold Berry’ that is. Like I continuously stress, there is nothing like a classic being revisited as long as its done right. And it seems as if Foot Locker gets it as we get some detailed pictures as well as some release details for this upcoming trip down memory lane.
Take a look at this information below and let us know if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
It’s always a big deal when an industry classic is released in its OG colorway so everyone stop what you are doing at once and mark down August 7th on your calendars because the OG White/Lyon Blue/Bold Berry/Black is back! Originally released in 1992 and made famous by the Fab Five at the University of Michigan, the Huarache was a staple on and off the hardwood in the early 90s, and was embraced by the Wolverines for its lack of in-your-face branding apparent on the shoe. One of Tinker Hatfield’s most well known collaborations, the Huarache has enjoyed a number of retro releases since then and continues to resonate with sneaker lovers, generations after it hit stores for the first time. The Huarache combines smooth white leather that accounts for most of the upper with classic 90s blues and purples that take care for the neoprene booty for an ultra comfortable fit. The tongue and the heel counter are the only places that Nike puts branding on this shoe and they are subtle at best.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG “Bold Berry” will drop on Thursday, August 7th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $115. To find out which store near you will carry the shoe and if that store will implement the sweepstakes ticket procedure, please visit the Foot Locker Launch Locator.
