There has been mutters around the sneaker community that the Nike Air 3 LE ‘Kevin Garnett’ is expected to be making a return this year, sometime this Fall. It would make sense for Nike to return this specific silhouette and colorway as their once signature athlete, KG is back in Minnesota playing for the Timberwolves who actually drafted the then young Kevin Garnett fresh out of High School.
The Nike Air 3 LE first released back in 1999 and features tumble leather and a gradient mesh which made the sneaker a very unique silhouette and fan favorite.
While KG is no longer a signature athlete for Nike I am sure the proposed Nickname for this colorway shall change but as for right now there is no confirmed release date.
