Netflix is preparing for an amazing 2019. In the next year, Netflix will bring back Stranger Things, Peaky Blinders and more. In addition, the streaming service will introduce new shows like Carmen Sandiego and The Protector. Not to mention, classic shows like Friends and The Office will remain on the streaming platform. With the end of the year looming, Netflix has announced the latest addition to the Netflix empire. Netflix has announced a new show based on the life of the late singer, Selena.
The new show will be called Selena: The Series. An episode count and release date have not been released yet, but the family of Selena Quintanilla will help produce the series. Alongside Netflix and the Quintanilla family, Moisés Zamora of Star and American Crime will help push forward the show as a writer. In addition, Zamora will help executive produce the series alongside Jaime Davila, Rico Martinez and members of the Quintanilla family.
