Jake Paul has found success in a number of ventures. First, he made his way as a social media superstar. Then, he entered the ring as a boxer, earning eight-figure paydays. Now, he’s looking to prove himself as a boxing promoter. On Friday, May 26, Paul’s latest business venture, Most Valuable Promotions, hosted its first “Most Valuable Prospects” event. Headlined by Most Valuable Promotions’ signee Ashton Sylve, the event provided a platform for rising stars like Jamar Pemberton and Lorenzo Medina.
Jake Paul and Most Valuable Promotions are not looking to simply host one event. Moving forward, Paul and company have plans to return to Orlando for the next edition of Most Valuable Prospects. On August 18, unbeaten super lightweight prospect Nestor Bravo will headline a night of boxing at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. Later this year, “Most Valuable Prospects” will return for events on October 17 and December 15. In the coming months, Most Valuable Promotions will fill out those cards with prospects like Bravo, Sylve and beyond.
“Having joined the boxing community in my twenties, I came to realize most professional athletes start training in the ring from the time they can walk,” Jake Paul said about the importance of Most Valuable Prospects.
“It’s incredibly important to me and my team that we offer a platform and the tools necessary to help these young boxers achieve the success they’ve been working towards since they were kids. I was lucky enough to have a solid foundation when I entered boxing because of the people supporting me and our goal with Most Valuable Prospects is to give others the same chance, on a global stage.”
