Another good day of NBA action. Lets get into the beast performances last night. Including the T’Wolves “Big 3”, the Heat getting back on track and the very early return of Russell Westbrook.
Detroit “big 3”: Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe and Josh Smith are possibly the biggest “Big 3” in the league. And it’s going very well. A combined 45 points and 29 rebounds. And with Brandon Jennings now back the only way is up for the Pistons after the W over the Celtics in their new “Motor City” jerseys.
Nikola Vucevic: A great underrated talent is making moves, Nikola Vucevic everybody. 19 points and 12 rebounds for the young center.
Kevin Durant: The Durantula is at it again. 33 points and 10 rebounds. This guy is automatic.
Russell Westbrook: Guess who’s back? Back again… Westbrook’s back! Tell a friend. Little Eminem throwback there.
Yes he is back 2 weeks early I might add. It was a last minute statement and it he couldn’t have come back quicker. OKC were doing fine I just love watching him play.
21 points and only 4 turnovers, which is quite good for him. Good to have you back. More fashion statements to come I’m sure.
T’Wolves “Big 3”: Kevin Love is legit! I’m going to say it now. If he is healthy, he has a great chance of MVP honours. I am not joking. Anyway 34 points and 15 rebounds, but there are 3 in the “big 3”. Ricky Rubio gets another 10 assist game (I can see him going for the double digit APG streak) and Nikola Pekovic with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Special mention to Kevin Martin with 30 big points in the great team win against the bright Orange Alternate Uni’s of New York.
Pau Gasol: With Kobe out I think Gasol has really taken hold of the Lakers and is leading them through every game they play, and it’s now paying dividends. 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Spaniard in the tight 2 point win against the Hawks.
