At the top of 2017, Migos took over the country with the release of Culture. From “T-Shirt” to “Bad & Boujee” with Lil’ Uzi Vert, it seemed that no one could stop them. Then, the group followed it up with the release of Culture II featuring Drake, Big Sean, 21 Savage and many of the biggest artists of the game. Not to mention, it delivered gems like “Gang Gang” and “Too Playa” with 2 Chainz. At the top of the game, the trio decided to shift gears and release solo projects. While each project performed well, fans were still waiting on the end of the Culture trilogy.
Three years later, fans are still spinning back tracks from their sophomore album. However, that will change in the very near future. After delivering “Need It” with NBA Youngboy, it appears that the trio is gearing up for the release of Culture III.
“Being locked in, you still have stuff to write about,” Offset said about his writing process as he works on the new album.
“But you’re not out there moving, taking trips, going from state to state. Getting energy from places. It gives you more things to rap about.”
Last month, Quavo teased a video shoot from the upcoming album rollout. Now, the Migos are here to drop “Straightenin’.” Check out the new single below and get ready for Culture III.
