Comedian and actor Michel Che is set to executive produce and star in a sketch comedy show for HBO Max. The premium network has agreed to a six-episode run of the untitled show which will tackle topics such as police brutality, unemployment and much more.
“I’m really excited to be working on this show with HBO Max,” the Saturday Night Live star began.
“It’s a project I’ve been thinking about for a while and we have a lot of sketches we want to shoot, so please wear your masks so that we can go into production,” Che said.
“Michael brings a distinct comedic perspective as he illustrates the uncomfortable truths across multiple topics,” HBO Max Executive Suzanna Makkos said.
Che joins a growing list of comedians teaming up with the premium cable network. Tracy Morgan, Conan O’Brien and Chelsea Handler have all signed on to work with the WarnerMedia brand.
