Mary J. Blige has announced that she will be heading out on a 23-date tour this fall. Beginning on September 17, 2022, the New York native will travel across the country performing her biggest hits and favorite cuts from her most recent album. Along the way, she’ll connect with fans in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Las Vegas, Houston and many other cities. In the end, things will come to a close at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on October 29, 2022.
Mary J. Blige is not hitting the road alone. Two years ago, she co-headlined The Royalty Tour with Queensbridge legend Nas. This time around, she’ll help usher in the next crop of R&B stars. Queen Naija and Ella Mai will both join the New York native for the Good Morning Gorgeous Tour. Both rising R&B acts will have a number of new records to pull from. Last month, Ella Mai dropped her sophomore album, Heart On My Sleeve, with contributions from Lucky Daye, Roddy Ricch and many others. Meanwhile, Queen Naija has made waves by collaborating with Latto, Big Sean and Ari Lennox over the last few years.
As for the legend herself, Mary J. Blige will also have a number of new records to pull from. In February, she released her 14th studio album, Good Morning Gorgeous. The 13-track album featured Usher, Fivio Foreign and DJ Khaled along with production from D’Mile, London on da Track and Tiara Thomas.
Tickets for the Good Morning Gorgeous Tour will go on sale on June 17, 2022. Check out the complete list of tour dates here.
