Basketball icon LeBron James and his business partner, Maverick Carter, may be ready to make their next deal.
As reported by Bloomberg, James and Carter’s production imprint, SpringHill, could be looking to merge with Fulwell 73, a production company founded by Ben Winston, James Corden, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner, and Gabe Turner. If the deal were to come to fruition, it would be mutually beneficial, boosting each side’s unscripted and sports programming capabilities.
SpringHill is the force behind many of James’ forays into television and film, including The Shop, Space Jam: A New Legacy and The Playbook. Meanwhile, Fulwell 73 has played a role in the Grammy Awards, ESPN’s Clutch: The NBA Playoffs and Hulu’s The Kardashians.
Neither James nor Carter has commented on the report. Instead, the four-time NBA champion will head to Memphis for a showdown with the Grizzlies tomorrow evening. Meanwhile, Winston will turn his focus to future high-profile projects like the GRAMMY Awards and the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California.
