Q4 Sports continues to expand their roster, with the latest addition being Detroit Pistons guard Langston Galloway, according to a source. Galloway joins Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson and New Orleans Pelicans guard E’Twaun Moore as the only NBA players under the Q4 brand.
Previously, Galloway was with Nike, but when the innovative ideal to be with Q4 Sports came around, he took advantage of it. According to a source, his debut with the company will be sometime this season, when he’ll debut a player edition of the 495 Lo’s. The same sneaker, in different colorways, was worn by Stephenson and Moore.
The deal Galloway has with Q4 Sports includes this season and next, according to a source.
Galloway is in the first year of a three-year, $21 million deal with the Pistons, after spending last season New Orleans and ending it with the Sacramento Kings. Through six games this season, he’s averaging eight points per game in a career-low 15 minutes per game but is shooting an astounding 47.8 percent from three-point range thus far.
Galloway went undrafted in 2014 after playing four seasons of college ball at Saint Joseph’s University. He was named to the NBA’s All-Rookie Second Team in 2015 as a member of the New York Knicks.
