On Monday, September 25, 2023, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony Bobby Dee confirmed that Anthony “Krayzie Bone” Henderson had checked into a Los Angeles-area hospital. At this time, Dee has not provided additional information regarding the Cleveland native’s condition.
Prior to Dee’s confirmation to the Los Angeles Times, reports from AllHipHop indicated that Henderson checked himself into a Los Angeles-area hospital on Friday, September 22 because he had been coughing up blood. Shortly after checking himself into the hospital, medical professionals rushed the rapper into “immediate surgery” to mitigate the damage of a leaking artery in his lung. A separate report from TMZ indicates that he will undergo a second surgery in hopes of stopping the internal bleeding. However, it’s unclear when that surgery will take place.
“Let’s please be sure to keep our brother, Krayzie Bone in your prayers this morning. He is currently being hospitalized and is reportedly “fighting for his life,” a statement from BET reads.
“Prayers up for the legend Krayzie Bone,” Andrew Barber of Fake Shore Drive added.
The Cleveland native’s management has issued a statement thanking fans for their concern and asking for privacy at this time.
