The Los Angeles Lakers went up against the Houston Rockets last night in L.A. and with such high profiled names like Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and James Harden everyone was glued in. Surprisingly last night Kobe turned back the hands of time with a dunk people didn’t think Bean had left in his arsenal.
From a sneaker head standpoint our eyes were glued in what kicks on court we would possibly see and the main attraction had to be the Nike Kobe 4’s Trevor Ariza laced up. This was all in honor of his former teammate of course, Ariza and Bryant were teammates on the 2008-2009 championship Los Angeles Lakers.
The Nike Kobe 4 was the shoe actually worn during the championship run Kobe and his Lakers went on that year and the colorway is dubbed ‘POP’, the Home version. Kobe and Ariza since parting ways after that season have remained friends and to further make the sneakers he wore special, KB signed them after the game.
Not to mention Ariza was spotted in the ‘Shattered Backboard’ 1’s but that’s another story. Above you see Trevor Ariza wearing the sneakers during the game and in the instagram video below we see the exchange take place between the two.
