Kobe Bryant was able to pass his former teammate Shaquille O’Neal to become fifth on the all-time scoring list in 2012. He’s since passed Michael Jordan to become third on that list.
Against the Kings on Friday night, Kobe passed Shaq to become fifth on the all-time in made field goals. Kobe has made 11,334 field goals in the NBA with an average of 8.8 makes per game. Still ahead of Kobe is Michael Jordan (12,192) Wilt Chamberlain (12,681) Karl Malone (13,528) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (15,837).
Chamberlain (12.1) and Jordan (11.4) are the only two players in the top five who averaged more than 10 makes per game.
