The Kids’ Nike KD 8 ‘Money Ball‘ is a colorway inspired by Kevin Durant’s childhood in accordance with the Basketball Pro Toy Pack from Nike. We all know Kevin is a great shooter but for the storyline surrounding this new sneaker is an unbelievable story if you ask me. But hey, who am I to say KD didn’t shoot pennies into a toy car.

With a penny and some tiny cars, Durant would play an imaginative game of basketball, cars were the players and the penny acted as the ball. That one-cent coin is represented on the KD8’s sock liner, while the outsole imagines a full range of model-car colors. The KD8 Money Ball is available beginning November 18.
