Kid Cudi is preparing to bring his classic mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, to streaming platforms. The Ohio native has announced that the project will arrive on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. on July 15, 2022. In addition to announcing the return of A Kid Named Cudi, the former G.O.O.D Music artist also announced that his latest project, The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1, will debut on July 8, 2022. The project’s artwork is set to arrive on Tuesday and the tracklist will be unveiled on Wednesday.
Kid Cudi is not done just yet. He’s set to embark on a worldwide tour this August with Denzel Curry, 070 Shake and Don Toliver. Beginning August 16, the traveling show will make stops in Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Tokyo, Paris and beyond. Things will come to a close in Milan, Italy on November 22, 2022.
In addition to heading out on tour, Kid Cudi will also unveil his Netflix show, Entergalactic, this fall. Kid Cudi is set to star alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Teyana Taylor, Jaden Smith, Vaness Hudgens, 070 Shake and several others.
“The series follows a young artist named Jabari, voiced by Mescudi, as he attempts to balance love and success. Finding the latter brings Jabari a step closer to the former when moving into his dream apartment introduces him to his new neighbor, photographer it-girl, Meadow. An explosion of art, music, and fashion, Entergalactic takes place in the only city that can handle all three: New York,” the show’s logline reads, according to Denise Petski of Deadline.
The show is expected to premiere on September 30, 2022.
