Wrapping up the week is becoming second nature almost, Tuesday recap is almost just as important as Wednesday with our weekly feature for Kickin’ It With Def Pen: Wear Your Kicks. Now to me it may be a little more important because its the part of the series that shows the fans we actually take the time out to acknowledge their efforts to partake in our weekly showcasing of the importance to wear your kicks. Now not everybody may read it but thats what comes with the territory, still going to get done regardless.
Last week Wednesday was probably one of the most important weeks because we received a lot of new faces and a lot more female participants. I knew the ladies had it in them, only a matter of time. To help lead things off was a very familiar contributor to the #WYKW movement, Ant Sheppard or known on twitter @ant_sheppard. With a last minute effort Ant jumped at the opportunity to provide us with a feature and it was a good one.
Kickin’ It With Def Pen: Wear Your Kicks Pt. 19 showed that there are people out there like Ant who still genuinely enjoy, the passion it is that sneakers can bring to the sneaker community opposed to the state it is in now where everything is strictly about hype and reselling, for the most part.
